I went here for the first time after the revamp and I was a little sceptical because the last experience here before renovation was a little sour. But everything from the delicious barbeque fish to the slightly dry albeit yummy phirni and the extremely hospitable and friendly staff made the entire experience super fun and memorable.
The variety was great for a lunch buffet and the service was extremely prompt and polite. They kept asking whether we liked the starters or if there was a problem with any of them. The prawns, chicken legs, fish etc were super but the patrani macchi was a let down and I told them that. There were around 6 non veg starters in all and each was fantastic. There was no space for the main course so I skipped it, though I tasted a couple of gravies.
They also brought in a delightful mango cake to celebrate my parents anniversary. I would urge anyone with a good appetite and a desire for variety to visit. They have a cool chaat corner too.
All in all, definitely deserves many more revisits.
