I have ordered couple of books from BookAdda.com on 7th May 2013 for a discount. After placing order I got a SMS message but no mail confirmation of order. The delivery date\timelines were around 16th May 2013. I did not receive any orders or updates.
Around 16th of May’13 I called up customer care and asked about my order, then they reacted to it and said that they are sorry for the issue and said immediately they are dispatching the shipment and should reach in 2-3 days.In the meantime around 18th of May’13 they called me and mentioned to me that they are not shipping the second book within timelines and would be delayed by 4-5 days.
I received the first book after 3 days i.e., around 18th May’13 and I was expecting the second book to be delivered by 22nd\23rd of May’13 But instead on 23rd they called me to inform that they can’t deliver the second book and would refund the money in 4-5 days.
That means almost they took 3 weeks to confirm that they can’t deliver a book which is available in local market or elsewhere in online sites and on top of it I need to wait for 4-5 days for getting the refund.
With such a pathetic service being provided, I would never like to visit Book Adda.com and suggest to please avoid BookAdda.com. I am highly dissatisfied with the service provided.
