On 24th July 2010 I ordered a book from bookadda.com, however due to slowness of the broadband connection money was deducted from my bank account and credited to bookadda’s account but an order could not be registered. Next day I sent an e-mail explaining the problem. Bookadda replied saying they will refund the amount but until today (03 August 2010) this amount has not been refunded. Later I ordered the same book again on 28th July 2010. This time the order went through and was acknowledged by bookadda.
However, so far there is no word as to when the book will be dispatched. This morning I called them about both the problems. It was promised that bookadda will look into the delays and come back to me but throughout the day there was no word either from them or their bank that is supposed to refund. I feel very frustrated. Folks, stay away from bookadda unless you want to pay for buying mental tension and lots and lots of it.
