Pros: Convenient, fast and attractive booking interface
Cons: High booking fee, website bugs.
I used to book tickets using this website, but I have recently decided to switch to a new website, because of the following problem I recently experienced. I updated my phone number after getting a new sim - the changes also appeared on my account. However, when I booked the tickets, I did not get the booking sms.
When I called the customer care, I realized that the message was sent to the old sim - my account details were not really updated. In other words, the changes made by the user are only reflected on a profile page, but not in the website database. When I requested the person to manually update my number, he said’you should have thought this before booking the ticket. once booking is done, we cannot do anything. however, do not worry, if you still have your old mail id, you can show them the mail confirmation.’ This means that, if you do not have access to your old mail id and phone number both, your payment is lost. It is your fault that you did not expect the website to show you the wrong details.
After paying Rs. 60 per booking, the users cannot expect a website to show that their details are updated, when they aren’t.
