Hi, to avail offers you may have to use a card you may rarely use. That is what offers are for!
I wasted 1 hour trying to avail an offer on a movie. Bookmyshow site is designed poorly.
When you attempt to book tickets but don’t complete the transaction, the seats remain blocked for a while. If one wants only those seats, one has to keep trying till those seats are released. Waste your time for Bookmyshow’s poor logic.
When your payment on offer fails, Bookmyshow locks the card for 20 minutes for that offer. Again, waste of more time for no logical reason!
Don’t stay on the payment page for more than 20 minutes! When you click on Apply offer, the site says "Congratulations, you availed the offer". And it also says "Page timed out.". So you waste 20 more minutes.
At times, you try again even after 30 minutes and the card may not be released. So be ready for a surprise.
Net result - Be prepared to waste time while booking movie tickets!
