I consider myself quite an open minded person but I must tell you that this movie continues to haunt me. The idea that this story is actually based on the real life of someone will haunt anyone who watches it. This movie is only for those with a strong stomach and open mind. Extremely graphic and the subject content do not leave anything to the imagination. Yet one wonders how Brandon Teena was able to pull it off.
If you are the movie critic/loving type, this movie is for you. You’ll love rating the cinematography, directing, acting etc. If you are the average movie going type...beware!
