Aldous huxley .. what more can i say

I read the book because of aldous huxley.. had heard his name mentioned in a sheryl crow song.. foudnout who he was and decided I must read brave new world. that was a good decision. Brave new world is sharp and crisp, brilliantly satirical prose.

The story is essentially set in the future , a time where man is able to control life , death and almost everything in between. The world is perfectly balanced, thereis no place for complex emotions, human beings are cultivated like crops. Each human being is conditioned in specific manner so that the balanc eof the world always remains. However, a savage , unconditioned human enters and sets of a spate of enents which challenge the very fundamentals of the society. a final clash of two worlds, with seperate idealogies forces the reader to take a stand.. one that could define his/her personality.

Easily the best sarcasm and satire I have ever read. brave new world is also extremely thought provoking. After you put the book down , you can suddenly see the world as if its stripped down to what it really is. This is one of those books that can change your life.
