Instrumental Music for your listening pleasure!

Kenny G is the biggest selling instrumental musician who started his career as a teenager. He plays soulful and mellifluous music on his saxophone and always creates a harmonious atmosphere for his listeners. The soothing strains of his music can enchant and uplift your spirits. He has also collaborated with some respected singers like Peabo Bryson, Toni Braxton etc. to create songs which are featured in his albums. ’Breathless’ showcases the gift of Kenny G. The album features tracks like Morning, The joy of Life, In The Rain, End of The Night, Sentimental, Jasmine Flower etc. and features two songs ’By The Time This Night is Over’ & ’Even If My Heart would Break’ in collaboration with artistes like Peabo Bryson, Michael Bolton etc. His music is very rarely heard on the airwaves in Delhi and almost never played on music channels. I heard one of his tracks being aired on radio and loved it. I enquired at a neighbourhood music store and found this album. I normally do not buy instrumental music, but Kenny G’s albums are a delight. He creates an atmosphere for you to relax and give wings to your imagination. I have this album for more than four years now, and I still play it every now and then without getting bored, simply because you would not hear this kind of music played a zillion times everyday on the radio or on television. This music is perfect for a cosy get-together, when you do not want the music to distract your guests or drown the conversation. It is also a great gift, especially for anniversaries etc.

Notes:I was surprised when I could not find any review on Kenny G, so I decided to write one myself. Choice of music is very personal and this review is written from my own perspective. For more information on Kenny G, visit, https://kennyg.com

Caution: His music is not for everyone. I once recommended it to someone and this person absolutely hated it, because the mood of the album is very mellow. If you prefer upbeat music and do not want to experiment, then you may not want to buy the album, but you could gift it to someone who prefers soft music. His other albums, like Greatest Hits and Holiday albums features more tracks than this one. Comments are most welcome. Happy Listening!
