This is a large seaside resort with many attractions on the east coast of England.
The attractions include:
1) On the North side there is a nice promenade walk to Sewerby Hall & Park.
2) On the South side there is the Spa Theatre, which hosts various performances by different artistes.
3) The harbour & marina, which is near the centre. It is still a working habour, used by fishermen & pleasure crafts. For the harbour you can take either a speed boat ride into Bridlington Bay, this I have enjoyed very much, or a more leisurely trip on the Yorkshire Belle boat, this takes you along the local coast line.
4) There are many shops (inc. a shopping precinct), take away places (inc. McDonalds), and amusement arcades. The amusement arcades are my favourite, sometimes I have spent most of the day in these. Plus there is also an indoor leisure centre, which is reasonably priced. In one of the arcades there is a cinema and bowling alleys.
5) Accommodation in the area includes hotels, bed & breakfasts, plus various caravan & camping sites. In the summer it does get very busy for car parking, I have sometimes found it a nightmare to park, and have had to drive round and round to get parked. For anyone without a car, there is a large bus station & train station available. This resort is recommended for people of all ages. I have enjoyed many a trip to Brid!
