Well labelled and well packed in water proof plastic bags except that at times have received some loaves of Britannia whole wheat bread squashed and with the tamper proof seal loose. The bread is always sliced and soft.
The ingredients mentioned on the pack show 62% whole wheat, Yeast, common salt wheat bran, palm oil and class II preservatives( 282) with a flour treatment agent and permitted natural food colour, also nutritional info.and as per 100 grs. contains sugar 2 g, fat 2 g cholesterol 0mg, trans fatty acid 0 g saturated fatty acids 0.5 g, dietary fibre 6 g and protein 9 g and carbohydrates 50 g.
Slices are thicker than in Wibs bread. We also enjoy making Toast from this Brittania wheat bread.
Would prefer if the Wheat bran was coarsely ground as we could enjoy a better texture to each bite and it has no special flavor of wheat to taste. What is the exact percentage of salt, sugar and wheat bran being used in each loaf? and if rice bran oil could be used instead of the palm oil, as after all it is a product from Britannia Industries.
