I have tried several brands of whole wheat bread. Britannia claims to be 100% whole wheat. Though I don’t know if that is true, it is certainly the best tasting, and most light weight bread that I have consumed.
Other brands of bread including those that are good in the white bread, tend to be chewy when it comes to whole wheat. Perhaps because they are not totally wheat. This bread also remains crisp for longer after it is toasted, compared to other brands.
Anyone looking for bread that is not too flavorful, and allows the ingredients of your sandwich to retain their taste should try Britannia whole wheat bread. Also, if you are looking for a healthier alternative to white bread.
