The British Brewing Company at the Oberoi Mall(Goregaon) is truly a blessing. It is the only restaurant cum bar in the vicinity and luckily it is a good one.
The décor is amazing. It has a rustic feel. There are huge beer barrels in the corners, these barrels are actually tables you can sit at. Funky posters adorn an unpainted wall and you cannot stop but sip on the chilled beer and browse through it. The huge bar is apt for people who would prefer their own company or their ipad’s or phone’s.
The food is a mix of Italian and Mexican but they have thrown in some ‘mumbai’ style hakka noodles and chicken. I absolutely adore the mozeralla cigars and the pasta in pesto sauce. I often see people enjoying skewered panner and chicken, apparently it’s a hit. They do not offer variety in burgers which is a major con for me.
I love BBC for the varieties of cocktails they serve and the best part is, it is one of the few bars in the city which serves a huge selection of beers.
Service is good. The waiter provides you with an ipad which has a detailed description of each dish accompanied with pictures. Still, if you are unsure, the waiters are always ready to recommend and guide you through the menu. It’s a must try for people in the suburbs.
