I appeared for ielts from British council, mumbai recently. I am writing this review when results are still not out. I had my LRW test on 10 Nov 2018 at Omega 3banquets, K star mall Chembur east, Mumbai. First of all the hall, entrance was completely decorated with flowers and jazzy lights which was giving unprofessional look (after all I went there for an international level exam). Later I entered the hall at 12:22 pm, I noticed that the temperature was very low that actually everyone was shivering. Within 10 minuted max people were inside the hall and many of them including me complaint about the low temp to the staff. No one bothered about it. Later 3-4 of us requested another invigilator but no action was taken. Another request was done meanwhile. Later at 12:54 the go sitting beside my seat asked invigilator to maintain proper temp as hands were shivering due to chills, but surprisingly that invigilator instructed us that you guys should bring your woolens while coming for the exam. As expected no action was taken for temperature till listening and reading was over. And Suddenly at 3:15 AC was switched off till 4:15 till the writing exam was over. When issue was raised to British council India they trusted the words by their own staff and did not do any Investigation. Very very disappointed. They are playing with people’s dream and future as well as money. Don’t ever go for British council. IDP is much better. My result will be out on 23 Nov 2018. They ruined my listening test Bcz of their cooling temperature.
