Anyone who believes Hindustan Lever is an honest company? Please check Brooke Bond Natural Care Tea’s Label. It contains only flavours of herbs. No real herbs. Got fooled??? Well, Now You Know!
I still remember the time when Hindustan Lever used to sell its Wheel brand detergent claiming that it contained Lemon Power. Later it was found that the detergent only contained Lemon Perfume and No Lemon Power. Again this time, HLL claims in its TV commercial that the Natural Care Tea contains herbs when the product label clearly says it contains only flavours.
Further, it would not have become too expensive for HLL to actually put real herbs in the tea. Even if it added to the cost a little, the product would have become really useful. But for HLL, why take the trouble? Indian consumers are not too smart anyway!
I would really like to know from those friends who bought this product whether they checked the label before using the contents? Please help me out!
And yes, Tea in itself is a rich source of anti-oxidants and does not need any herbs to be mixed for it to become good for health. So whether its HLL or TATA Tea, keep drinking the Cup that Cheers.
