Bruce Almightly (starring Jim Carrey from ace ventura films and cable guy which nearly ruined his comedy career) is a great family film. He plays the role of a nobody in his view, and god seems to be playing on that and letting him down all the time, so in fact he gets all gods powers for a week or so while he goes on a much needed holiday and has ’’fun’’ nearer the start and things start to mess up as the film goes along.

He enjoys doing things as changing his car, blowing up a ladies dress and imploding a hydrogen cashe. He then starts to wish he had never been given the powers as god makes things a little harder for him, getting like 1000000000000000 prayer emails and he has to reply to them all or some, but leaves it to the side like all things in his life.

He soon changes nearer the end however, because god gets him to look up to his wife a little more and show her some more respect in which he does do at the end.

I won’t spoil it any further but a great film 10/10 Not as good as his earlier films but still entertaining.
