I ported from vodafone to BSNL 3G in bangalore on 12 Jan 2012.
I did so after coming to know that BSNL 3G speed is far good than others.
Opted Postpaid 525 rental plan.
Some Rs 425/- worth of free usage+ 500MB of data usage(Extra usage @ 4ps/10kb) and 200 roaming incoming calls free.
This was what told to me in BSNL malleshwaram office after sitting there for 1 hour just to complete those elderly ladies to finish their daily stories and bakwaas.
Ok Accepted.
While taking plan it was never told to me that one month advance rental would be charged in my first bill.
Again accepted. and I chose it ignore and pay taking it as a company policy.
But, second month billing I was shocked to see a bill of 2212 of of which 1700 was for internet usage of only 675 MB. After 500MB free usage, only 175MB should have been charged https://m.mouthshut.com/4 rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >@4/- per MB.
I tried to call 1503(that was mentioned on the bill) almost 15 times and these were the answers that I got:
"The server is down." "We will transfer the call to our senior" (NO ONE PICKS UP THE CALL EVEN AFTER 15 MINS OF TRANSFER)
"This number is not a bsnl number"( THIS WAS THE WORST RESPONSE I EVER EXPECTED)
Finally I took aleave from my office and went to BSNL malleshwaram, where I was told that the plan has only 250MB of free usage on 3G whereas 500MB was for 2G.
Bloody idiots, if the plan charges were for 2G, then why did you show me those when I had told you that I want a 3G connection while buying itself.
But as usual, no use breaking my head. Those ladies listen to you for 2 mins and after which they continue their work giving a blind eye, even if you sit in front of them for hours together. typical govt office.
I bet, if bSNL is privatized, such useless dumb as s lethargic employees be sacked and then they will come to know how important is customtakeouter service in todays competitive environment.
Anyways, I ended up with paying the bill and surrendered the number.
I did not want that someday my name comes in defaulters list.
IN BETWEEN, THEY EVEN DISCONNECTED MY OUTGOING FACILITY ASKING ME TO CALL TO customtakeouter CARE.
AND WORST PART IS customtakeouter CARE NUMBER IS ALSO BARRED FROM CALLING!

SO FOLKS, MORAL IS NEVER USE NOR SUGGEST BSNL TO ANYONE.
LETS MAKE THIS A MOVEMENT AND TRY TO TEACH THESE LETHARGIC AS SES A LESSON!
