I am just writing on Bangalore specific.
Had a terrible experience with this network. There is network coverage in the centre of Bangalore city. Voice breaks between calls and sure we lose the interest of calling.
Have a low battery back up? – Then please use BSNL as it never works in travel(in Trains, Buses a long distance). Its better you keep your phone switched off than searching network.
Then comes the DATA which is offered at very cheap rates – I recharged 3 gb 3g data for 3 months @?333. Its around 1month now still I am unable to download a complete movie. I should have not used more than 5 gb till now. Just because of the speed my airtel 2g works faster than BSNL 3G. The network fluctuates flips back to 2g in seconds if surprisingly I get a 3g at any corner.
The customer service care does not show any hospitality to its customers it takes a huge time to connect and once it is connected they ask to contact different numbers.
If your under roaming zone then they may wallyball with you. The home circle service centre will ask you to call the current service centre and vice versa for suport.
In short for people who are new to Bangalore and wanted a new connection please don’t opt BSNL just thinking that they don’t charge for roaming. You will get lost in the city.
