Bsnl is one of the oldest operator in india.The name where every person heard about this in india.But in my opinion its a worst network that I ever used before. I had some horrible experience when I used to use bsnl in my mobile.now ported ( transferred) to some other network.expectations are always high, being a government undertaking one should be expecting a cheap and the best network capacity coverage. But unfortunately its a bad situation and unknowingly becoming worse day by day. That too in city areas, but in some rural and urban areas there networks are somewhat ok.i dont know what may be the problem.The standards set by people are always high for these kind of government undertaking mobile operators.So people slowly migrating from Bsnl to other service operators.( the experienced people) .They are giving free wifi in goa beeches, in some railway stations and in public areas in order to cope with the modis mission DIGITAL INDIA* but in opinion before that first improve the range of 3g networks rather than providing free wifi in such places.everyone is in 4g areas already but here in bsnl 3g networks are also getting weaker day by day. And some users are fedup including me by using this sim.Plans are interesting, exciting but network strength are not up to the expected level.There landline are somewhat better than mobile services. This should change fast otherwise their market goes down drastically.The govt should take certain steps for the improvement of networks.The customer care people are also not good.This will not going to help. People expect fastest network with convinient amount for them.i used to wait 1 month for mnp ie from Bsnl to other network providers.improvement in rigorous manner is required for the betterment of 3g mobile networks.if they do this they can meet the requirements as per how customer wants.HINDUSTAN BOL RAHA HAI which we normally hear in advertisements should be improved and I am sure they will improve in near future.
