Best among the Rest

I am using the BSNL Broadband for about 9 years now, and I would rate it the best; of course the Govt sector has its own limitations but I vouch it for better service when compared to the just the business minded Private service providers.

Even I had disruptions in the past might be a total of 3-5 times in a 9 year span, but out them only once I had to wait for 3 days to get it rectified due to a cable change in my locality(no prizes, I was unaware that I will not be able to access for such a longtime until I called the customer care), but rest of the time it has been the best.

and regarding the speed and bandwidth; I am using the Unlimited plan as I use my home connections for both personal and Official use(to work form home) it is quite impressive as I am easily able to play with huge files from my companies servers.

Billing front its quite simple as even a layman would be able to understand these bills when compared to the the Private sectors billing cycles and their formats.

the best part here I enjoy is NO RENTALS for my landline and I only pay for what I speak,

another advantage of having the BSNL landline+ Broadband is the Address proof which is accepted widely as your proof of documentation, of course the people on the move would be having a hectic time in relocating their landlines and getting the things setup.

Regarding the customer care I would rate as an Average but no bad atleast when I have called to them.

the response has been good(But getting thru to speak to a cc executive needs load of patience)

but normally I didnt have the necessary to call them as I myself used to sort out the small issues myself instead of going to them and getting them confused:)

And moreover the private service providers can only provide if they have the ports avaialble in your locality, but BSNL being the shared Service provider for many of the Private Networks have their Network spread across the entire PAN India.

I am not ruling out the Private Service Providers as they are on the fastest ones to provide the required service with plenty of plans and the best rates but it is the Agents and the third parties who have spoil t the corporates names.

anyhow before falling into a PIT  would suggest to do a thorough review

  1. Is the Service provider already existing in the area?

  2. How is the connectivity?

  3. How far is the nearest Customer Care

  4. Who is the Third Party Agent who will be providing the connection?

  5. Go through the available Options in the Market

  6. Choose the lowest tariff plan.

  7. Do not go for a huge deposit plans

  8. Go for Hire scheme(in case of Modems) so you can switch Service Provider if not satisfied

  9. Always do not fall for the trick of the Best plan in the Market - Go for what suites you the best
