I used Bsnl broadband at home for 6 months and could not bear it anymore.
I had unlimited internet plan which promised a internet speed of atleast 512 kbps but in reality it barely crossed 200 kbps and that too during night, during day time the speed was always below 100 kbps which is really pathetic. Even browsing had become difficult and pages took ages to load hampering the whole internet experience.
When I called customer service, first off all it took a lot of time to get one employee on line and after that he instead rectifying the problem started making wild guess about modems.
I really recommend people to check other private ISPs even if they are a bit costly, it is far better than BSNL
