Ive been using **BSNL Broadband** since the past 7 years. The plan I was using at first was BB Home ULD 750 for which they use to provide unlimited Broadband for a fixed monthly charge of Rs 750. Then suddenly without any notice they changed the plan to **BB Home ULD 800**. Now I have to pay Rs 800 per month.
Earlier, there was no *FUP(Fair Usage Policy)* and you could use unlimited amount of data at the same speed. But now if you cross 6 GB data they throttle the speed to **512 Kbps**(kilo bits per second) from **1 Mbps**(Mega bits per second).
BSNL recently announced that they were providing a minimum broadband speed of **2 Mbps** from 1 October, 2015 onwards to its customers at no extra cost. But going by my own experience I must say that I have not noticed any difference in speed. It is always slow and sluggish. On an average, there is no Broadband connectivity for minimum 4-5 hours every day.
