Bsnl is the government telecom company running from several years in india. it provides variety of services like mobile operator, landline, broadband, data cardand many other services are provided by bsnl. and I think they are the worst company I have ever seen. they does a great loss for government which is a loss for us indeed.
I bought a bsnl 3g prepaid card to use high speed 3G data on that prepaid card. the 3G plans these days were chipper those days. but it was my grat mistake to buy that sim card.
after a day my card was activated with 1GB of 3G frc. I was looking for network coverage on that card. bsnl is providing spectrum to other mobile operators. but at my area I was not getting even 2G signals. if they were not able to provide any services at my area why they sold me that service. every other service provider has giving me both the 3G and 2G signals. but they are not able to give any of them.
when I called the customer service center they were very illiterate and don’t even know how to talk. and they were unable to solve my problem. even after selecting english as my primary language they continue to talk me in local language.
the call rates are 1.25 to 1.50 times higher than other service provider. and when we recharge that card with particular amount they cut our talktime the most and give full talktime at very big amounts only.
other local, std and isd plans are also higher than other service provider. and tariff plans are also very high.
the customer support is very week. just because this is a government company they do not care for the customer complain and customer preference as well. and the competition is null for them.
first of all they need to improve their network capacity, should enhance the plan and should make it acceptable and most likely to improve customer support as well.
if they will not improve. this will cause a great loss to indian government in future as well. I will never suggest that kind of foolish service to any of my friend and relative.
