BSNL Broadband, BTM, Bangalore
I have been using BSNL since last 6 months and experiance
have been pathetic. BSNL sucks. I have
unlimited tarrif ( where they have their own limitation)
1-) Download speed what max you get is 30KBps (avg is around 10 Kbps) and
upload speed is
extremely low as 8 KBps.
In case if you like to donwload/upload movies/songs and if you use any Peer 2 Peer protocol like
BIT torrent then BSNL is not for you. if you
are member of some privatetorrent tracker
site, where its
required to maitain minimum ratio as 1. i.e. you are
suppose to upload(seed) as
much you download. you can’t
servive with BSNL on such private torrent trackers.BSNL will sink
your ship
2-) Connection is not at all relaiable , if it goes sometime and u
never know when will it come back... 2 hrs...3 hrs.. sometime 6
hrs...or may be next day... sometime
restarting router works( in case if it was problem with router )
Overall recommadation from me for BSNL is if you dont get airtel...try for sify...if you dont get
sify
take BSNL ..something is better than nothing ...dont expect too much fro BSNL....
if you dont get BSNL....stay un connected but dont go for TATA indicom.my friends have suffered
with tata indicom.
