Conned me. I’ve been using BSNL for almost 3 years now. I mean so called Data one. I thought that BSNL has infrastructure so they can provide good bandwidth and I subscribed for 750 package that’s unlimited home usage thing and I was prescribing it to all my friends thinking this is the best one can get.
The download speed is never more than 35KBps . recently I was on my friends system who’s got the most primitive system and the most basic configuration, using other local broadband I think its beam cable..and the download speed was 85 KBps (average). Even that is unlimited package and cost Rs.600. it was streaming continuously. It was a shocker. Even though I have a compaq desktop with 2 GB RAM I get 35 KBps max!!!!! BSNL is of course public sector!!!!
