I am using BSNL Broadband services since last 10 months and I was reasonably happy with their quality of service. I started facing connectivity issues since March last week which I immediately reported to exchange. They registered my complaint and gave me a docket number. But my request was closed without even looking at it within 2 days.
I registered a new complaint and a lineman (who is very corrupt, doesn’t look at the issue without 100 Rs note) came and said there is a problem with your router, so get it exchanged as it is in warranty. I went to Lazar Road exchange (Bangalore East) BSNL and met Pramila (9449004911). She initially said they cannot give me a new router as they do not have any stock.
Then she insisted a technician to look into the router, he checked it and said its working fine. Ms Pramila told me that she will send a lineman and get the line changed. I had to call her up at least 6-8 times a day and she never used to pick up the phone. This went on for around 15 days. After 15 days, same corrupt lineman came to my place and said he has even changed the line (which I doubt as I did not wanted to give him a single Rupee) but still problem persists. I informed same to the exchange and they said they will take it up this matter with priority. I called up Divisional engineer Mr. Dasharath, he promised me to get it repaired very quickly without any bribe. Nothing happened for next 2 days.
I had to suffer a lot because of corrupt BSNL services who did not even care about the customers. I finally called up Airtel broadband and got the connectivity within 2 working days.
It is real shame on BSNL Bangalore who have worst technical people and corrupt linemen.
Finally I would strongly recommend everyone to stay away from these cheaters and prefer some private vendors even if you shell out a bit more.
