It is one of those old legacy restaurants of Chennai, probably in those old days when Chennai was called madras, it was established. one of the early restaurants of Chennai.
It serves biryani at it`s best but mutton the best-est. Chicken fry also a another important thing to order there. It`s a south Indian restaurant & probably a decent in Chettinadu style cooking.
The ambiance is good but is very crowded & poorly managed. Even if you have booking, you would need to wait at least 20 mins for your chance to enter.
The food is priced economic. If you want the food to be taken outside, they pack it so nice and hygienic. I had chicken biryani, the taste is different and unique, which I never tasted any where before.
The service is quick. The next item I had was mutton chukka this was also very tasty.
Go for one by two, as there are more pieces and that two can share and it was a bit costlier too.
