My experience at Bukhara was not good at all.
The food was okay, but the service was HORRIBLE. Our tables were not bussed and our drinks were never filled. For a restaurant in which is considered “fine dining”, it was a poor excuse. I felt our $300 meal (for 7 people) was ridiculous – I definitely did not get what I paid for. I didn’t complain because frankly, what would that have done?
Honestly, I felt I was being discriminated against because the staff must have assumed we were local. It is sad if that were the case – but everyone at my table felt that way and frankly, that is embarrassing.
So, what is the big “hype” around this place? The fact that they donn’t let you use forks - What a joke! They need to overhaul their management of this place.
