I have been to Bukhara at Maurya and I must confess it is extremely overhyped what could be described as just a normal dhaba. The food is outrageously costly. Its one thing to charge for ambience and another thing to be unrealistically expensive.The much advertised "Daal Bhukhara" turned out to be absolute dud. Even the daal in marriage parties are better.The service is pathetic, the management is pot bellied and customer satisfaction is not on agenda.
The vegetarian startes we had were not of quality for the price they asked. I guess even a 3 star restaurant like Punjabi by nature does better starters. We had paneer tikka and it was around rs 950 before tax. and it was not good at all.The naan were’t good either. I am a vegetarian and hence this review takes into account vegetarian food only.The seating arrangment is very uncomfortable and very low.I am yet to find a Five star restaurant that really provides great food.
