Why the song ?Bulla kee jaana ? is so popular?..
Well I thought a lot and would like to share my thoughts about it ?
My initial experience when I saw this video?..
I was switching the channels and there on Mtv I saw this video for the first time .This is about a month back My initial reaction was ?A sardar with a guitar?singing something which I could not understand??I first of all started laughing at Rabbi?But than the video created curiosity in me I ended up watching the full video.
It was a shocking change as if now a days you see any music video specially of private albums u will find a lot of eye entertainment rather than any good music or good voice. but this video was new, refreshing and reflected the real picture of our INDIA. The music was also very catchy. But the lyrics were really hard to understand?.
In short initially I liked the video rather than the song or the music?..
But that was enough to create curiosity in me to wait to see this video again?
My second experience ABOUT THIS SONG?.
It took me 7 days to see this video again since I work in night and have to attend my college in the morning I seldom get time to watch tv during the weekdays. So I have to wait till the next weekend before I saw this video again .Now I tried my best to understand the lyrics and the music certainly worked well to make me addicted to listen this song again and again. It was his voice his music specially the way he plays the guitar that made me a huge fan of Rabbi.
As of now this song is already topping all the music charts and Rabbi has certainly made his name in the market.
But what I think the real winner in this is our India.
Cause its not the lyrics of this song that makes it catchy cause most of the people have not understood the lyrics as Rabbi has used very hard Punjabi. But this song is as popular in Delhi as in Punjab and as in Mumbai. Where the People who understand this language are very less.
As far as music is concerned it?s really catchy but not that good to make this song a huge success.
SO I end this review by sharing my personal opinion about this ..The real fact that made this song and Rabbi a huge success is the treatment of this song and the video that reflects the true India?.
I love this song for its treatment and the idea behind making a good music video that can be seen with the family for a change?.
I hope we will see a lot more videos like this and also Rabbi will not turn out to be a One song wonder?.
