This was surely a big head ache to see the film.
B and B is an out and out mix bag of goof ups.
How else can one logically state a duo of thugs selling the Taj Mahal.
This sure tests the intellect of the viewers if nothing else.
Rani Mukherjee is pathetic, especially in the scene when she misses her mom.
Amitabh Bachchan, as usual is better than the others.
Abhishek Bachchan looked and acted ok.
The plot of the film is as thin as a hair strand.
Abhishek(Rakesh) and Rani(Vimmi) live in small towns and dream big.
No harm in that. everyone does that.
However they decide to run away from home as their views donot match with their
parents. They meet at a station and develop a friendship, love and decide to thug people with ingenious plans.
Only, their so called ’’ingenious’’ plans are little over the head.
Looting RBI gold and selling the Taj Mahal may look funny only to the director.
The music is non existant. Poor music and a cameo by the not in favour and universally disliked Ashwarya Rai doesnot help matters.
Big B playing the role of cop Dashrath Singh is good. He shows his good heart at the end when he is moved by the love of Bunty and Babli and release the con-men.
Overall, this has been a pathetic film.
Would in my terms rate it at 2.5/10.
Never mind the Times Of India ratings.
It is a known fact that the newspaper is fed with loads of green bucks to give a favourable review.
As of money, Yash Chopra has no limits.
