Burger King is by far, to me, the BEST fast food chain around. I love BK for it’s affordable menu, great taste, and fast service. Yes, the downfall of good ’ole BK is the food is full of fat and calories but hey, if we lead an active life, like we all should by exercising and NOT eating fatty foods every night then eating at BK when we get the chance is okay. Burger King also has a .99 cent menu so for those of us on a cheap budget we can still have an assortment to choose from and eat there. The .99 cent menu consists of 2 tacos, baked potato, 5 piece chicken tenders, chili, onion rings, french fries, bacon cheeseburger, sourdough burger, garden salad, and a regular size drink. I must say I like everything on the .99 cent menu except the onion rings (just because I personally don’t like onion rings...too greasy for me) and the tacos. BK really should stick with BURGERS since it IS called BURGER king but hey whatever if they want to add more ’spice’ to their menu. I don’t like their tacos because the shells are really stale tasting and the taco is greasy and usually cold. I have sampled the BK tacos at 3 different Burger Kings and each time I have got the same results. So I’ll stick with Taco Bell if I want tacos. I will say their potatoes and chili are also good even for a burger joint.
I think they shouldn’t have added the newer items to their food list but hey, whatever floats your boat. It still tastes good. I just think adding chili and potatoes makes them seem like they are trying to copy Wendy’s and it just gives BK a poor rap but people seem to be enjoying the newer menu items. My favorite meal at Burger King is the #3 value meal which is the Whopper Jr. with a medium fry and a medium drink. DELICIOUS! Make sure to add cheese to your whopper jr. because that just completes the whole meal.
Burger King’s fries are the best of any fast food chain. They aren’t greasy and they have just the right amount of salt and they are always hot! The whopper jr. (and even the whopper for that matter) are the BEST sandwiches from BK because of their amazing taste. I love the flame-broiled taste and all the sauces on the sandwich. The bread is always soft, the burger is always warm (just how I like it) and the taste is always that amazing, delicious flavor that I have been enjoying for 6 years. I say forget the whole fat content for one meal and let your taste buds savor the amazing tastes that BK creates. Enjoy!
