I have been subscribing this magazine for the last 4 years and its not that I have not tried the alternatives available...but I sincerely feel that BT is one of the better magazines doing rounds in the business circle.
They have a decent coverage across industries giving out very relevant analysis. They also touch upon relevant political and national issues that may have an impact on the bearing of business environment in India. A word of caution here is that though the analysis is good, I personally do not find it as objective as it should have been. I mean if you compare it to a mag like Economist (i know it is not really the best comparison)..you would immediately get hooked onto their research and simplicity in presenting the analysis...whereas BT tends to get technical at times without giving full clarity on the opinion.
About their case studies.. They are no doubt insightful but again catering to a niche reader segment ( mostly middle - high level management). It would be really nice if the issues covered in the cases are also catering to junior-middle level after all they should try and grow with the customer.
Now, my favorite section in this magazine is the irresistible Dilbert..it just too good!!
The layout and presentation is also pretty nice, their anniversary issues are really hot!
