Hopeless service..

Through Snapdeal..I bought this gas stove through online retailer snapdeal. The ignition of the right knob was not working soon after purchase. On contacting the butterfly service center two service personnel called on me and inspected the product.


They said they would replace the said defective part within two days. Sad to say no action was forthcoming. On repeated calls they gave me to understand that the particular part was presently not available. Even after a fortnight the replacement has not been done. Are they trying to avoid fixing the new part or is it genuinely a matter of non availability? I am surprised that such an important part is not available for such a long period of time given that the butterfly company is a reputed and well known company.


Why is the service center showing such a lackadaisical attitude towards genuine customers? Is it because i have purchased the product through online retailer Snapdeal? If this is the kind of respect they given to the online retailer, I feel I should never again purchase any item through online retailer snapdeal.


The product has a two years warranty. so the defective part should be replaced free of cost as i purchased the item only two months back.
