I always find solace in reading much for those books that really won my heart.I am always excited of finishing one so that I may able to share it among my students.
Funny it may seem I am indeed an uncurable romantic but realistic too.
I have read The Alchemist through a co-teacher and I was deeply touched of how the story goes.
I tried much of looking for a copy of it for my collection.I did have one from a national bookstore here.
I thought it was the best of what I read but it wasnt. Paolo had even written better in this book by the River Piedra, I sat down and wept. Believe it or not I cried when Ive read the story.
Paolo is able to really exactly described and put into writing what really matters most in life. How it is to be in these tension of opposites. You want to do this but you are bound to do something else.Of loving and letting go is never been that easy. Above all to compete with the source of what love is all about.
So realistic that sharing these to my students is never been that difficult for me and my students to distinguish the choices often times life has something to offer.
I even used an excerpt from it and used it for their listening text during thier examination in my English classes.
It pays well, they too have their own copies and even encouraged them to be bookworms after all.I will never regret of purchasing this book.
