Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience with Cabbazaar Avoid at All Costs


I had a terrible experience with Cabbazaar during my recent trip from Faridabad to Mussoorie and back(30.05.2025 to 01.06.2025). Despite making a partial advance payment and receiving confirmation for a sedan(Ertiga) via email and SMS, the booking process turned into a complete nightmare.

  1. Multiple Booking Changes and Confusion

After the initial confirmation and a call from a driver confirming pickup, I received calls from multiple people claiming they had my booking. This chaos continued until 11:30 PM the night before our 6:00 AM departure. There were at least five changes in the booking, creating unnecessary stress. The final call came from someone who promised an Innova, but the next morning, a different person showed up with an old model of Ciaz, even though I had paid extra for a 2022 or newer model.

  1. Unjust and Forced Payments

Just 10 minutes after the trip started, the driver informed me that I needed to pay ₹;5000. I refused, as per Cabbazaars policy. However, the vehicle owner then called me, spoke rudely, and compelled me to pay, saying, either you pay or leave the car. We were left with no option as we were traveling with family, so we paid under pressure.


After reaching Mussoorie, the driver again informed that he needed a hotel stay, and the vehicle owner insisted that I must bear the ₹;1000 hotel expense. Again, I had to pay out of pocket.


On the return journey, the driver once again relayed the message from the owner demanding ₹;3500, which I had to pay.


After reaching home, the owner had the audacity to demand ₹;1950 for so-called parking chargeswith no receipt or slip provided. I had already paid the municipality parking charges in Mussoorie, so this demand was absolutely baseless. Despite requesting a bill, he refused and forcefully took the amount.

  1. Unprofessional and Misleading Service

The driver himself was polite and decent, simply conveying instructions.


However, the vehicle owner was rude, aggressive, and exploitative.


There was zero accountability from Cabbazaar, and no transparency in pricing or communication.


⚠ Warning to Future Travelers


Do NOT book with Cabbazaar.


They operate through unprofessional third-party vendors who manipulate and exploit customers. The experience was filled with last-minute changes, stress, and extortion-like demands. What should have been a peaceful family trip turned into a stressful ordeal.
