The Advertisement: The advertisement (TVC) for Cadburys Dairy Milk Chunky is quite cheeky and neatly executed. It is successfully triggers an urge to rush to the nearest grocery store and grab your own Chunky (Well, atleast for chocolate afficionadoes like me!). Of course the Temptations ad was better, but unfortunately the product was disappointing...the pricing did not match the quality and quantity offered. The Product: Cadbury Chunky is available in three flavours...Plain Dairy Milk, Raisins and Cashew! It is priced at Rs. 15 for the plain variety and Rs. 20 the other two. Considering the price, I think it is a fine bargain. You get 5 big chunks of chocolate which can be relished with great indulgence. For lovers of plain dairy milk chocolate...Chunky is certainly too good to share!
The Verdict:
Most of the products of Cadbury and Nestle fail to match international quality standards. Their products produced and packaged abroad (outside India) taste much smoother, fuller and richer. Unfortunately in India the same brand/ product does not offer the similar high quality. Cadburys Chunky too suffers from such discrimination. What do you think MSites!
