Basically Cadbury’s Dairy Milk requires no introduction. The very mention of the word Cadbury reminds everyone of the heavenly chocolate wrapped in violet paper.
I don’t know much about the ingredients that make up dairy milk or anything about it caloric values, but the sight of dairy milk being present in the newly formed category of “chocolates” urged me into expressing my loyalty to this delightful food which I have never stopped liking.
Just one taste of it makes you realize that it not just another chocolate but one that makes you an addict. Ask anyone to select just one piece from a box of assorted chocolates and without further thought people blindly pick a dairy milk. I have known a friend whose passion for dairy milk is so diabolically great that she makes sure she informs anyone whose b’day comes up to give her only a dairy milk and has preserved the wrapper every dairy milk she has ever had.
One cannot just explain the reason for such an immense “love” for this chocolate, it just happens. Being a foodaholic myself, I love trying any new and interesting food product in the market. But, all the huge number of new chocolates and enormous foreign chocolates could not make me grow out of my obsession for dairy milk. It is just “the” chocolate according to my dictionary. But, the one-liner promoted by the ads genuinely sums up the attraction for it --- “Kya swaad hai zindagi ka” --- it really does give you the feeling of being on “cloud nine” and enjoying life to it’s fullest
