This is a place for good coffee. Please note that I am NOT saying this is a good place for coffee.
I must admit that I haven’t tried all the varieties of coffee available here but among all those I’ve tried, the plain and simple good old filter coffee is the best.
I know I sound a little old fashioned but I like places that are quiet and allow you to chat with your friends/family. I don’t like places that play loud music and therefore, filled with always-on-the-mobile teenagers.
Cafe Coffee Day in Numgambakkam was very good when it started off and the coffee quality is still very good. The service is not great though its quite OK if you visit the place late at night on Sunday. The takeaway service is the fastest and is the best bet if you want to enjoy your coffee along with peace and quiet. Get your filter coffee from the takeaway counter, come back to your car and enjoy your coffee.

For those who enjoy a cup of good filter coffee, try Coffee Day’s P.B. Selecto which is a blend of Plantation A and Peaberry seeds. This is as good as it gets. Unfortunately, Barista doesn’t sell coffee powder :-)
