I have lived in California my whole life and its awsome! Whats wonderful about California is that I get to anywhere! There’s my most favorite fishing lake in the whole world, Lake Oraville. I get to see the mountain, Vally’s and beaches all in one package called California!
One thing I love to do is Gold Pan and Prospecting! I go out in the high country where there are streems Like Bute Creek, Feather River, and Trucky. There I set up camp and pan for the little Gold things that drop like led into the very bottom of my pan. The best thing about it is that the more I get out of it, the richer I get!
Another thing I enjoy is fishing and Hiking along a flowing stream. Trout, Bass, Striped Bass, Blue Gill, Salmon, Crappie, and Catfish are the catch of the day here in California! Most of the time I fish for bass, but I have a whole lot of fun fishing for King Salmon, and little Trout. One of the best things I like to do when I fish is taking it slow and easy while I get little bits tugging on my ling and then, when I get a good one, tug on my pole just a tad until the hook sets. Its all a fight from there!
Some Days when I am bored and there is nothing going on around me, I enjoy bike riding or hiking out on trails or just around the neighborhood. The best time of year to do this is in the summer when the sun hits your back just right!
There is alot of things you can do in California. You can Mountain Climb, Bike ride, fish, surf, snowboard, ski, gold pan, and anything else that suits your groove! Come to California and live the California dream!
