I live in PA, but I have lived in California for 2 years before returning back to my home state. I have to say that I did enjoy my time there, but am very happy to be back in my small country town of PA.
While I lived in Ca I done many new and exciting things there. I will give you a list of some things that I enjoyed while I was there.
I went to the beaches, and let me tell you something there are many beaches in California. I lived in Long Beach California, it is like 30 min or so from LA. The names of the beaches are so strange that I couldn’t even pronunciate some of them. Example: Bulsacheca Beach? hmm that is a weird name huh? But other beaches like Cherry Beach, and Bald Eagle beach were the main beaches that I went too. The Ocean I didn’t really care for, reason being is it was too salty for my taste. The beaches were kept clean and there were always tons of people laying around getting tanned and swimming and playing games on the sand and etc.
I went to a lot of Amusement Parks in California, like Disneyland and Magic Mountain. There are tons of rides at each park, and games to play and those cartoon characters that walk around to talk to the kids.
In California you can go to Hollywood, and there is where I had most of my fun. I went to the Hollywood walk of fame, its a whole sidewalk just full of hand prints and foot prints and even animal prints of famous Hollywood people and animals. I seen good old Lone Rangers horses footprint LoL...While you are in Hollywood you can take tours of the rich and famous and see where they live. this is real cool. You can also go and see the BIG HOLLYWOOD sign on the top of the hill. They have the Chinness Theater and the Wax Mueseum. Oh and we can’t forget Universal Studios, now this is a cool place to visit.
The weather there is great, I love the heat and one great thing about their heat is the humidity isn’t as high as it is in PA. Winter time doesn’t get as cold as it does on the East Coast of the USA. In fact in California at least where I lived there was NEVER no Snow!! One time they actually brought in a snow maker for the kids so they could experiance what real Snow might feel like, and to enjoy sled ridding and building a snowman. The kids really loved it.
I fell that California is a very lovely place and its surroundings are beautiful. I love all the palm trees and flowers that line up the center of some road ways.
Now what I really didn’t like about this state.
California is known for many people who live on the streets (they are called bums). I feel so bad for those people cause they have no homes, no food for days sometimes, and everyone just ignores them most the time.
Crime is very high in California, but you have to realize where this state is located at and what boarders around it. So it is more likely that crime comes to this state more cause of its location. There are many gangs here in California and killings are always on a High there.
So I guess I can say the Good of California out weights the BAD! I wouldn’t ever go back their to live again, but I would always go back to visit this state.
