Well, the longlivity and enduring popularity of this scent has certainly confounded those critics...
It may not be quite as popular as it was, but those of us who wear it because we love it, rather than because its trendy, can only be pleased about that! I love Obsession because its a true oriental but with an interesting degree of complexity...
It also doesnt go off or disintegrate to somewhat unpleasant base notes as some of its competitors do. I also find it tends to stay true on most skins, whereas some perfumes can alter substantially with skin chemistry...
The only downside is that much of the accompanying skin and bathcare range is overpriced and not up to the standard one would hope...
