I was interviewed here in this company one fine day. Interview went well and I was surprised by some of the interview questions. I am working currently as SSE and the guy interviewed me said "this is a transperent organisation. we have only three heirarchies Team member-PM-CEO. Even I do code, I am PM here. I had a notice period of more than two months Then he asked whether I could spend weekly once an hour in the company to learn the domain so that it would be helpful for you once you enter into the company(May be to ensure that I Will join the company as people would use the offer to get more). What a blo suc. Even before entering the company he tries to assign work. This guy promised me of very good growth, classes from top IFMR for understanding business.
The next day HR called me. Now I came to know that there is a category called SSE here also. When I asked why can’t I be designated, HR told me that "here person with 6 or so exp., will join as SE and down the line after 4 or 5 years will be come SSE" stars on my head. Working as SSE for 5 years. And he spoke about renumeration. since I will be joining him around December 2011 it could only be around 2013 of Jan. This is somewhat ok. You people can infer whether to join or not. I don’t want to. If you people are ok and if you find any good about Calypso, let me know.
What a controversy between HR and the PM who interviewed me. Either one of the person should be lying. If it is PM how can he claim that it is a transparent organization. Lying to a candidte even before joining.
I have just rate for the sake of submisson actually I was not into the organisation.
