Poor Service from Malad West Branch

Very poor service. 4 hours wasted in 3 days just to close an account. No response from bank employees to old people standing in queue. It was a poor representation of respect to elder people. People who cannot fight refrain from opening an account in this bank. They do not value our precious time.


My experience:


Had to close an account since I was not using it. Had received a letter from them that  if I do not close the account by due date, they would  freeze the money.


Day 1: Saturday: They do not see your face after 11:00 am. And talk rudely.


Day 2: Wednesday: They do not see your face again during working hours. Token is given after requesting 10 times. Old people would face lot of problems since you need to have a loud voice to request for a token. I can see total mismanagement since queue for opening and closing account are the same.


Seems people sitting in the bank are not educated enough to handle things or they are not managed well by their boss. Do not know whom to blame. Had to wait for 2.4  hours just to submit an application.


Day 3: Thursday (after a week): They do not see your face again. Did not keep the DD ready even after a weeks time since they thought  closing account balance had to be paid in cash while it was clearly mentioned in the application. Again waited for 1 hour to get the DD since they work on their will. Again no respect given the customer.


Finally closed the account. I am sure this happens in all their branches. I experienced this in Malad West branch.
