Just bought Canon SD870 IS, and so far its the best digicam I’ve ever seen. Its amazing features include 3" LCD (TFT) screen (Ofcourse no view finder, Who needs it anyway in a DC?) High ISO levels for shooting in dim light, Image stabliser, Face detection technology and a higher batter life. Image quality is excellent and the focal length is just about good. If you are professional, then it might not be suitable as such for panoramic shots, but for normal use, its easily the best cams. Sony Cybershot seems like way behind infront of this.
Two easy drawbacks I can easily point out:
Price, a little bit high in its segment while you can easily get 12MP olympus for the price
No viewfinder, only for those who like to look through the lens
Thats all, and good points about it can not end.. All in all its definitely the Big Daddy of Digital Cameras in its segment. Tangible enough why Maria Sharapova did a commercial for this..
