Am using Canon Powershot A470 camera for the past 1 year and it is amazing. The price of this 7.1megapixel camera was within my budget. It has features like a 3.4x optical zoom lens, a large 2.5-inch LCD enhanced face detection technology. I don’t get blurry images at all- my camera takes care of that.
I have experimented in various modes like black and white, sepia, night snapshot, foliage, sunset, pets and kids, fireworks and numerous others. The auto mode is the best (less work for me J), though the manual mode works great too.
The sound quality of the video shots are not that great, but the A470 is great for photography. I have travelled with it everywhere and even shot pictures from moving trains. It is a great camera after you get to know its various moods and tricks. It is bulky, but it feels as if you are actually carrying something.
