I Purchased a Canon BJC-3000 on 25/12/2001 and after using it for nearly 11 months I can say that it still offers me superb value for money with crystal clear Black text quality which is comparable to laser printers. The Build Quality of the Printer is Very rugged, But considering Canons reputation in this field, it is not surprising. They were the first to Invent Photocopiers and have been the pioneers in the Imaging and Printing Business.I mostly use my printer to print in black and only text and for those who do the same this is the best inkjet printer available.Though it is priced upwards of Rs 6000.00 and also has come in its new Model of S400SP the running cost are amazingly low due to the Think tank Technology. If a colour runs out just replace the ink tank for Rs 425.00 instead of the entire catridge and you continue printing. My Printers, owners manual was rated at 500 pages per ink tank but I have already done closed to 525 pages with the catridge still going strong. The Trick to achieve high no of pages from a ink tank are to print the maximum no of pages at one go when the printer is switched on once rather than switching on and off the printer everytime to print a single page. This is Because the printer uses ink to clean the nozzles everytime the printer is switched on/off which consumes a small amount of ink which in turn leads to the No of Printable Pages Going down. Also for a trouble free performance and to avoid paper jams, always use Canon photocopier A4 size paper.Never use Govt of India Postal Department Post Card or else the Printer will get seriously damaged.Follow these tips and Continue with a Trouble free Printing.
