Beginner photographers looking for their first DSLR, 1300D is a perfect eye candy in budget.
Before the launch of 1300D, 1200D was the favorite camera for the beginners and keeping its popularity in mind Canon came with this new EOS 1300D with some minor upgrades at a little more bucks than 1200D.
The features and some notable changes with this DSLR are:
18 megapixel sensor like the 1200D which is a decent resolution for beginners.
1200D came with a Digic 4 processor but for 1300D comes with a Digic 4+ processor which is not the latest processor but performs well.
The latest Processor of Canon is Digic 7.
9AF points autofocus system which is same as 1200D.
Optical Viewfinder with 95% coverage.
While the 1200D had a 3-inch, 460k-dot screen, the EOS 1300D has a 3-inch, 920k-dot screen which makes a little more pleasant viewing experience.
The biggest notable change is the introduction of two new connectivity Wi-Fi and NFC which were missing in 1200D. Now with these connectivity options you can easily share your media in between your devices.
It supports 1080p video recording at 30, 25 and 24fps like the previous 1200D.
Cons :
No 4K support which is quite popular in the market.
Less upgrades when compared to the price of 1200D.
Even the Nikons entry level D3300 comes with 24.2 MP but this sports only 18MP.
