Last year, I have purchased Canon PIXMA - E460 from Shopclues.com for commercial use. It was my first printer. So I searched so many printers and selected it because of its eye-catching features like Scanner, Wi-Fi connectivity and portable & cool design. But after using this printer I felt that my expectation was not completed. And perhaps I was expecting more than its actual limitations. Guys! I am not saying that it is bad to have this printer, but remember it is only an average printer. It can be good for home use but I’ll not suggest you to buy this printer for commercial purpose because of its print quality and running cost(Cartridge replacement).
Some Points, You should know about Canon PIXMA - E460 if you want buy it.
1) Canon PIXMA - E460 is awesome looking printer with small size and we can set it anywhere even in small space.
2) This is all one printer and we can print, copy or scan from this small machine without any issues.
3) Canon PIXMA - E460 is wireless printer and we do not need to connect any wire for print from our device like desktop, laptop, mobile or camera.(Also you can connect with cable included in package, if you wish so.) 4) PIXMA Printing Solutions is a mobile application for this printer and it allow us to scan from mobile as well print from mobile without hassle.
5) Canon claims that Cartridge of this printer is long lasting and can print about 400 pages in black and white as well 300 pages in color without hassle. But actually I found that 150-200 pages black & white as well as 100-150 pages in color.
6) Canon PIXMA - E460 comes with affordable price and with 1 Year manufacture warranty.
Problems in Canon PIXMA - E460
1)Less number of pages can be printed against the printing cost because its cartridge is near about Rs. 460(as per retail price in Jan 2017).
2) It is tough to find its cartridges in local market.
3) Slow printing speed.
Conclusion: So friends, according to my personal experience with Canon PIXMA - E460,
I have to say that- you can buy this printer only if you want it merely for home use only and your printing requirement is 2-5 pages in couple of days. This is an average inkjet printer. You’ll be not satisfied, if you want it for commercial use.
