This all in one printer is the best choice for any one looking for a basic and quality home printer.
When it reached my home, I opened it, read the manual, connected the wires, placed the cartridges that came with it, and which was quite easy to install. I turned on the printer, put the driver CD into the PC drive, installed that too. Ran print alignment test. Then I checked all the functions again that is Print, Scan and Copy, all worked smoothly.
I don’t have any complains as of now. Only thing that bugs me is that it doesn’t have the scan button, so you’ll have to at least have the scan utility software installed, for scanning. It says that the 745 black XL can print up to 300 black and white pages, but I can’t talk much about that as it came with a demo cartridge which is smaller. Color ink has come down just a little bit after 11 color prints. the quality of photo printing is also okay, it doesn’t take too much time to print anything! There are no scratches, the product looks very new, It’s fast and has no problems. The cartridges are priced at 1000 and 800 for color and black respectively. But I really don’t mind buying new ones, because I think I would not need another one for at least 2 months or 3. I don’t print that much and I know a technique to refill it which will save money. So I bought it and would recommend it for home use only. It’s quality, cheap and the best of its kind. Thank you.
