Good buy for the money

Got one 2 months ago; very similar to the A620 except the swivel screen but has great optical zoom of 6X which is typically found in bigger cams. Picture quality is great, but red eye in many pictures on close up is an eye sore but can be fixed in the provided image editing software. Powerful flash, but in complete darkness is barely okay.

The delay between pictures can be annoying, but can be reduced to a second or so by turning off the preview (after a photo click). Also, get a 60x speed or above SD card of atleast 500MB(I got a 1GB card) which this camera can take advantage of. Supports fully manual control of exposure, not found in most other cams in this class.

With USB 2 support, quickly transfers pics to PC, software included is adequate(you may need a better one if you are picky). Overall a good starter camera if you don’t mind the size with many good auto features.
